Meet Johnny Gaines

I started Game Changer in 2017 with the vision of being the greatest multi-sport facility in the area. With blind faith, I began offering baseball lessons our of a 1500 sq. ft. storage building. Over the years business has grown exponentially.

Right now, we primarily offer individual baseball/softball lessons, baseball camps, clinics and speed/agility training. Our first mission at Game Changer is to mold young men and women into mighty men and women of God.

“Everything beyond that is a bonus. We focus on playing the game the right way, by respecting the sport and mentally developing players. At Game Changer we offer top-level instruction to improve players’ ability, skill and character.”

-Coach Gaines

I attended Clarendon High School and became a four sport Letterman in Basketball, Football, Baseball, and Track & Field.

I graduated in the spring of 2011. A few months following my graduation, I decided to continue my education and pursue baseball at Odessa College. After finishing up my two years playing 2nd Base for the Wranglers, I finished up my baseball career at West Texas A&M. While playing for the Buffaloes, I received All-Lone Star Conference Tournament 2nd Baseman in 2014. Then the following year received the same award while playing 3rd base for the Buffaloes.

In February of 2016, started working for Colt Molloy at, Colt 45 Baseball in Amarillo, Texas, one of the leading baseball facilities in the Texas Panhandle. While there, I instructed and mentored around 50 young men a week, teaching them the fundamentals of baseball while building character and knowledge of the game.
